    Default Palarm Creek @ Hy 365 Mayflower/Maumelle

Hy 365 boat ramp between Mayflower and Maumelle right at the river. Anyone know how the fishing at Palarm is when they are letting so much water out of the lake ? Can you even fish it ? Current ? Muddy ? I prefer single pole jig. Or should I just go on to the lake ? I sure like this little creek , just dont know much about it or how to fish it this time of year. Coming in from Bryant area.

I would let the water subside Tony...great fishing just after a big rain and the creek is just turning back to near normal flow. You can catch em when its flowing pretty good sometimes but fighting the current is taxing and not near as good as just when it returns to normal. I've fished it when it was flowing and caught them in down current sides of big laydowns with slip bobbers and minnows or verticle jigging when its flooded...but my best fishing in that creek is when the water has subsided and near or at normal water levels. Hit this creek just right as it returns to Normal and you can put a hurting on em for several days in a row.

I have fished the creek right at the river when the river was flowing really good. And caught them around the bridge post.

Would like to fish up the creek someday.
