Blue Thunder and I both got to see that particular gator "up close" last year during several fishing trips. All I will say is that he can make a real big splash when he wants to!

Yep he was cool to see. Closest I have been to one. I got within 15 feet of him and he just kinda raised up and then laid back down. As I crossed in front of him I got to thinking I need to get the heck outta here cause he could just leap twice and be in my boat. wasn't a big deal on the side but dang wind drifted me in front of him. Cool experience.

Sooooo close to having a pair of alligator shoes, but it appeared that one was barefoot. Then again, who would want to wrestle an alligator for his shoes even if he had some on.

Man, I wish those thangs would head back to Louisiana. I once fished from an innertube-type deal, but not below Pine Bluff any more. Geeesh! <><
