Default Meet My Hero/Lake Brewer 4-15

Here is the man that taught me and gave me the love of fishing and hunting. As a small boy I can remember him taking me fishing and hunting. We ust to live on a farm in Southern Ohio, this farm had a beautiful smallmouth stream that flowed right down the middle of it. This was the training ground where he passed his passion onto me. The memory's of my Dad wading up and down that creek and the lessons I learned from him were priceless and will be with me until my last days. He always made the time to take me fishing. I Love You DAD

Lake Brewer hey guys Fish r being caught there caught 15 plus a couple of bonus fish. Try throwing a road runner/crappie thunder skirt Blk/Chart Pink/Chart skirts on the banks in the morning. Then as the sun comes up move out to the lake locate brush pile in 15-20 foot of water and slip bobber with a minnow. Keep moving until you find a pile thats hitting. I should have had a limit with the ones I lost, I hooked a couple of Hogs and man they come up like they were Tarpon in the 15th round of a boxing match, jumping trying to throw the hook. Which they did LOL. Be ready on this lake if you hook a Goodun cos they come out fighting on this lake. WOW. Tory let's go get em my man.

    Dad's make great hero's.

My Dad was mine, and like you, I remember a lot of great fishin trips with him.
Our favorite lakes were, Swan, and Atkins (the one near Pine Bluff). Daddy didn't fish for bass, but he sure was a pro at catching crappie and big brim.

Thanks for telling us about your HERO......It brought back some great memory's to this old man!

I still remember forty something years ago when my dad would get a fish on and then hand me his pole and let me reel in his fish.
He made a worm bed out of an old freezer so me and my brother would have an unlimited supply of red wigglers.
Thanks for a great post Russ! Brought back some good memories of my Dad.

Cherish tose moments! My dad taught me all about hunting and fishing but did not push me to do them. He has been gone for over 20 years and I miss him every day.
