Safe? I wouldn't be a bit afraid to camp around the lake. I see some camping on the edge of the lake down near the Corner Store. There's a bait shop just down past the school and there used to be a place to camp with electric hook up just past the bait shop. I'm not sure if it is still there or not. I go by there 2-3 times a week and I never look. I'll be back down there on Monday. I'll try to pay attention and look and see if the camp site place is still there.

I appreciate that so much... I can get by without electric for a couple days just sleeping in the back of my topper on the truck, and I think my trolling motor will whole up a couple days without charging. That would just about do it for me, unless the bite was really hot, then I would need a charge on the battery...lol Thanks

If you can do without the electricity, down near the corner store is a decent place to park and to put a smaller boat in. People back in there and camp a lot during the spring/summer. Hope you catch a bunch!

There are electric hook ups by the Corner Store. Looks like 8-10 places.
