look at the bright side it can only get better from here on out
A bad day at the lake is better than the best day at the office is a LIAR!!!
Started off the day with howling winds of 20-25 but hoped that the crappie were in a spawning spot that I knew of. Low pressure day somewhat out of the wind 61 degree water temp, should have been good. Started off the day breaking off a snap on the strap that holds my seat down. Day just got worse from there. Lost my best anchor, hit a stump that bent my steering linkage and trashed my steering cable..... boat would only turn to the right or go straight......, then when I loaded my boat foung out that I bent my stainless prop as well.

Hey, we all have them days! The other day my foot switch on my trolling motor stayed stuck on and on top of that I broke the pull-up rope when trying to stow my trolling motor.

Some days it's better to just stay in bed.

Hey RWood,
Old Ship says hello.
We have all had a day like that in some way or another, but it still beats not going out to the lake at all. Boats and propellers can be fixed. Opportuniities to get out and go fishing are PRICELESS!
I am glad that you cast a line to this forum and I also extend a welcome you on behalf of all the members. Welcome from Alabama. "Shipahoy and I'll see you on the water."
