Fish Fry was great - food was better than great and plenty of it. Fishing was a bit of a challenge. But my guides Ricky and Wayne did a fine job of locating the fish. We managed to put 11 nice keeprs in the box before quiting at 1:00 PM. My son thanks you boys for letting me keep them! He was baptized / saved today and fried crappies was his choice for his celebration dinner. The water was down an amazing 50+ feet! I think I saw 78F for a surface temperature on the depth finder where we were fishing. My guides emplyed a basic Kentucky rig with minnows and jigs. Most of our fish came off of points in about 15 - 20 feet of water. Some fish were suspended, some were on the bottom. I won't reveal all the secrets these fine getlemen shared with me, but I will tell you that red/white jigs really paid off for a little while :D . I do have some pictures that I will post as soon as I get my photo editor working again. My computer issues are nearly solved, thank god. Thanks to all who came and showed me such a warm welcome. I feel like part of the family now and I look forward to fishing with you guys and gals for many years to come.
