A man lost his arm to a gator in Lake Moultrie while he was scuba diving Sunday.
It should be in the State newspaper tomorrow. It was on all the new reports today.

found those pics with a few others on another site, the gator was 11' 10" and 550lbs,tried to post the link but couldnt figure it out
Saw it on the news.It showed a big sign about GATORS in the lake..
Do we really need to ask the obvious question that everyone is surely thinking? ........Why would anyone ever go scuba diving in Lake Moultrie where there are not only alligators but water moccasins and all manner of unfriendly wild life? Anybody with a spotlight at night can see red eyes for as far as you can see down there , did this guy think they were friendly or something? Sorry if this sounds crass but come on.....
Commercial fishermen help feed the world.
They said this morning on the news that they couldn't reattach his arm.
Couldn't have said it better, Big "E" The only way I'm getting in the water in the swamp is if I fall out of the boat. And then you'll see me walk on water getting back in...
Need some rain, I can't get in the swamp.. Camping and fishing is just a few weeks away.
