hey man quick question, what kind of hooks do you use for them carp. i'm having a hard time catching them with the #2 shank hooks.
After hearing Falcon Poop braggin bout our state record crappies I started thinking " Crappie you might be wrong in looking up to the SC men! " So I did a little research this is what I found:
.............................SC ..............Ga
White Crappie:.........5 lb 1 oz.......5 lb
Black Crappie:..........5 lb..............4 lb 4 oz
Common Carp:.........58 lb........... 35 lb 12 oz
Gar:.......................23 lb 8 oz.....28 lb 6 oz:D :D :D
AS my results show we need to be nervous these men are serious fishermen. They beat us in everything except Gar!!!! Even our states favorite fish Carp! We need to be better hosts and hope not to enrage these fishing superheros or they are going to give us a whooooopin we may not be likely to recover from!

looks like EVERYTHING is smaller in Ga.
from what i've heard, the state has a serious lack of man power.

I think they are catching bigger fish in Ga,
they just can't figure out how to use the scale.

sounds like s.c grows fish just a little bigger. or is it that the sc boys know how to catch bigger fish ?
You bragg about record fish from SC but why don't you admit that the people that cought most of these records are from GEORGIA. Is it that we will have to teach ya'll how to catch slabs?
big fish swimming all around them and the people from Ga break the records..lol..ya gotta love it.Originally Posted by Ragfly Jig Man
