yeah , we was out there too , came home with 8 and caught about 45.
anyone venture out in the crowd yesteday. It was muddy at Bryant's Grove, so we went to Spring creek, everyne else had the same idea, seemed like. caught a few shorts shallow on flosts and minnows. Didn't have time to set up my spider rig and I was scared I would troll up a bass fisherman. It was tight.
Water temp was 56 in the creek and 46-48 around Bryant's Grove.

I was in Spring Creek also. Didn't get out there until about 10am so I was late. I staye until about 3:00 and had a few keepers! I talked with a couple of guys around fate sanders that were catching some good size crappie around the docks. They were using slip floats and were just going from dock to dock flipping inside the slips. I will be out there everyday this week. All of my good fishing holes are on dry land! I need to find some other spots.
How deep did ya'll find them. I marked several fish in 12-18 on channel drops. I will be spider rigging next time.
I was fishing between 8 and 12 ft. I was floating minnows and using jigs.
we caught some 2 foot deep with minners/floats on wood close to the channel , and any where from 3'-25' deep on jigs.
Anybody fish the East or West Forks of the
Stones River? If so, how did you do?
Thinking about going Monday am and trying to decide to fish the river or around Weakly Bridge or in the lake.
HELP!!! Decisions, decisions, decisions
Might just go to Woods.
Jaycee, I`m going out in the river tomorrow afternoon, probably the West Fork.
If you put in at west fork, try the trees on the right side of the first curve going down stream. I used to catch a lot there. I got tired of the idiots blowing down the river and acting like you aren't there. I ran away to Bryant's Grove a few years ago and go back just long enough to realize why I don't fish there anymore.
My $.02
ubang2, look for me. i may go in the river. I have a g3, pf175.
Lets go sometime during the week.
Let me know.
