My question to you guys is. Is spider-rig trolling seasonal? I am very new at it and investing in it with the intention of doing it year around. I see some troll only in the early spring when the crappie is easy to find. I intend to troll year around in order to find the crappie and then jig for them. Is this wishful thinking?
Thanks

Spider rigging is a year round technique. In fact, it can be one of the most productive winter patterns. Crappie tend to school up tighter in cold weather. Drag a bunch of jigs through the school and hang on! It works year round.
