Look for brush piles near drop offs into deeper water.
Hi guys! Looking for hot/warm weather crappie catching advice. We've been fishing minnow under bobber and having decent luck, but things have slowed down with the arrival of hot weather. Anything you all have would be appreciated. The lake we fish has several rock walls as well as brushy coves.
Thanks in advance. New to the site and looking forward to learning!

humps, bend in a creek channel are good places ,or good drops .last weekend i was catching them on humps and bends in 12-14ft of water
also, fish at night, under lights, by the areas mentioned already.
Try putting a jig below your minnow which will also work as your weight, maybe 15" to 18" below. As stated above on the edge of creeks and in the bends. I have tied up across a creek before and done well, but usually I like to be on the edge of the drop.
We load the boat all summer long by pulling crank baits. You may want to visit the MS board and read the thread called "Pullin cranks 101". It has 135 pages of information on the subject. Good luck.

Up North after May, most people don't keep crappies they get mushy/soft.
