I think that I have seen some at either wal mart or gi goes. but I am not sure...sorry. If you find a good sorce let us know.
Does anyone know where I can get some road runners locally without having to order them? I sometimes find myself in the need and don't want to wait for them to arrive.

To land one of my crappie i need a gaff and a .22 pistal :D
Hrm, which Wal-Mart? The two I've been to didn't have any. I'll check Gi Joe's next time I'm over that way and I'll break out my wallet That place is so expensive it seems. Maybe if I don't find any I will order a bunch this time and quit running out....

I am not sure on the wal mart, and that is usually what I end up doing just order a fat load of them and you will not have to worry for awhile.

jimmy houston uses things all the time. i have seen them at a tackle store near my house i think its on 205th and the front of the store just says fishing tackle
Yea, I use them all the time. With different bodies I can get different rates of fall and I've always had good luck with them. I actually started using them when fishing smallies in a river when I was a kid and they did the trick when nothing else would. My supply has dwindled since I moved out here and I just happened to notice I am out, completely out, which is what spawned my thread. I'll be ordering up some here soon it looks like.

Try to give Auburn Sports a call: http://www.auburnsportsmarineinc.com/sys-tmpl/door/
They used to carry them for sure. I haven't been there in about a year or so but they had them then. They're right down the road from where we'll be fishing tomorrow. Watch your wallet though.....talk about a bass/crappie/walleye fishermens paradise.
