    Default Yum Beavertails

Tried these baits for the first time this weekend. The fish ate them up. I dropped a 2" pump/chart right down the piling where my boat was tied up and I got a huge tap tap, I thought it had to be the bottom and lowered the tip of my rod , wasnt even close to the bottom, missed a huge crappie bite.

My first cast with the same color 1.5" tail and I pick up a crappie, my luck unfortunatly didnt continue, but I caught countless small bass and sunfish that wouldnt leave the beavertails alone. I am definatly adding these to my crappie box. One note is that they need to be fished on a round head jig with no worm hook, you need to glue them on a plain style jig head before you go, they tear up easy if you try putting them on a normal jig.
