Great pics Kman. Riggin can be a blast for sure w/ two man front setup. Ifn the fishin is slow the conversation can be good.
I bought some new bases for my driftmaster rod holders I have in my big boat so I could easily swap them into my little pond boat. The pond boat was only 14' and would take two big butts on the front deck so I removed my front trolling motor and used the transom 55lb motor in the back to move us along. It was a 3 man outfit with me driving and re-rigging broken lines and stuff for the two guys fishing, but it worked and was fun. I think I can manage with a home made tiller extension with just two of us fishing, but im not sure. Even if we had to swap out the three of us had a blast FINALLY getting to properly spider rig a place that was made to spider rig. Just learnin tho. Been a one pole jig man most my life.
The set up worked good with the minnows between them and the ice chest right behind them. Used 14' BnM poles and a single minnow with 3/4oz weights. The double rig has me kinda skeered. Figure Ill STAY hung, maybe not. Like I said, new to it.

Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.
Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.
nice, thinking my next boat is gonna have to be big enough for two seats on the front deck
Couple of slabbers there man. Like the idea.

yeah im right there with ya. just got my boat out this spring and learning how to fish out of a boat as compared to dock or bank fishing. and i too believe my next boat will have to be big enough for a two man spider-rigging show up front. good fish and good pics though
Congrats on figgering it out, Kent.

where did you get the new bases for the driftmaster? I need to put together something for my 14 ft sea nymph.
