Welcome back from Florida
Hi folks, i've been a member i guess since march but since somehow i entered an odball username, don't know how that happened i haven't been able to get back on this board (i'd like to change it somehow but that's another story). i am an avid panfisherman and would love to become a better crappie fisherman, but here in upstate ny it's hard to find a major crappie bite.
i also make jigs all sorts of lead heads and tie hair, marabou and other combinations. the squirrel jigs peaked my interests, i have been making squirrel tail jigs for
some time but some of the other ideas on this site already had me tying some different ones. i sell to local bait and tackle shops but more of a paying hobby than a business. i'll be reading up on this site for maybe some info for locating crappie at different times of year. it seems summer i can usually find a few by "shooting docks"
i'd also like to get into the next jig swap. i fish mostly bays of of Lake Ontario on the southern shore but usually make one trip up north to Black Lake a really good
crappie bite in early may. thanks again to all for a great site,
