High Rock Lake Stripers

I usually fish for Crappie 99% of the time but want to try for Stripers this Fall on High Rock Lake. How should I set up in the Fall for river run reservoir Stripers, and when should be prime time? What is the magic water temperature that turns the Stripers on in the Fall? I have caught many many Stripers on Badin Lake in years gone by in the heat of the Summer free lining live Shad. Now that was a blast. I have a couple of lead-core rigs set up and ready to go and some other rigs set up with mono on line counter reels. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

hey kellog, I know striperjunkie frequents these boards but I would suggest ncangler.com since there are more striper guys on there.Once there search high rock and you'll get tons of striper fishing info.Thumbs Up
