Seems like they are following Palin's footsteps. I wonder how the media will react to this.
running for re-election and neither is Dorgan of ND...they are both running behind in the poles. Instead of taking their beating...they are quitting. Gov Ritter of Colorado is backing out of the race, also. Something must be going right.

What it means is they gonna ram this Obamacare town our throats and walk away grinning, and watch the rest of us cry.
They have stolen millions from the tax payer, so they really don't care. Fine citizens they are, one and all.
The basssturds last stand, I guess.

Best line on Dodd I've seen today (from Powerline):
Dodd joined his corruption with a bullying liberal self-righteousness and condescension. It is a sickening combination. He deserved the thumping by the voters that his exit will unfortunately deprive them of administering.
Once againg I have to agree with Cane Pole. These guys are walking away with a fortune of our money.
I believe in most states it is legal to keep unspent funds from a re-election account. Some donate it to thier party, some refund it to donors, but many keep it. This should be changed. If you run and lose you have no money to keep or donate for special favors. This is true of both parties.
