    Default small bobbers

Anyone know where to get some small bobbers for 1/64 oz. jigs?
Keep some for the pan, let the larger ones go back for another day!

I use the small wagglers or the small cigar shaped balsa ones from the bait shop. They work just fine. They will support a 1/32 jig easily.

    .

Go to a fly fishing supply and try the strike indicators that they sell. Works great!

I've been using Betts weighted floats most of the time, but they do sell weighted pear shaped floats that work well with jigs below 1/32 oz.

I'm also looking for the smallest float I can get away with, for my strke indicators. for shallow water bites.

I wanted the same sorta thing to fish cat tails in some clear water. Couldn't find what I wanted so started to make my own. Probably went a little overboard on this one, but killed a few hours at work. :D

Balsal wood is very easy to cut and shape, you can pick up a block of it at most hobby stores. Used cleaned ink pen parts for the line tube. I use a small stick or toothpick to set the depth. This one works good, but doesn't hold much more than 1/64. You can also weight them by drilling small holes and pushing in split shot or bb's.

not sure if they are a good price or even would work but Lowes has corks in the hardware section under specialty items. Struck me as odd to have corks *shrug* but there they were.
