Nice looking fish! Sounds like you had a great day.
Brenda and I went out on the West Sandy yesterday evening and picked off a few willing fish. We caught 28 and kept 12...Had a cool breeze blowing and no traffic.
Brenda was floating minners and I was jigging minners using the the Big Bite jig with minners. Man, I like this Big Bite jig. Water termp was 88 degrees and we pulled fish from brush about 12 foot down. The bite was mostly the up push on the minner. Very soft bite. Fun,fun, fun.
We finished off the day with grilled burgers and home made ice cream. Life is good in West Tennessee.
Brenda changing outside night lamp bulb. Some ladder...
We had a grandiose time.

good day for sure
Tom, sounds like life is "great" in westen Tennessee. You make me a little :D with envy. Since my Dad died, I don't think we've done the ice cream thing. That use to be a favorite of his, and the ice cream of choice was cherry vanila with pineapple in it or pop rouge. Instead of after a fish fry, it was usually after a crawfish or crab boil. I'll have to do that for my young'uns and grand young'uns one day. Thanks for the memories.
