    Default Interesting catch for 2lb test line!


    My son with a nice crappie he caught on a nightcrawler. Then, my son holding a 25lb carp that I caught on the Major Craft Finetail Area SUL pole using 2lb SOS line! What an epic battle!

    It took 6-8 full minutes. Part of the problem late in the battle was I forgot my dip net. That fish tested everything, my knots, my rod/reel, my line and lastly, my skill. Certainly not what I'm after, but an accomplishment on such light tackle.
