    Default Not crappie but exciting!!


    Caught them all on this ledge. Didn't try to catch what was schooling up. Old Hummingbird 798 Fishfinder. Didn't have my Helix 10 connected and Mega 360 hooked up. All fish were released.

    Those are some nice ones. I LOVE seeing the rods bending when the fish are taking the baits. Looks like you guys had some fun. Congrats.

    We used frozen shad for bait. Lots easier than trying to keep shad alive. I mixed one container of non-iodized salt (1 lb. 10 oz.) to a 10 pound bag of ice. Walmart has the salt. They call it Plain Salt. For more shad just add more ice and salt.

    Don’t stir the salt in the ice with your hands!!
