Default First trip of new year

Wasn’t good. Plain stupidity on my part. Tried launching straight nose first down a fairly steep rocky slope because I didn’t want to get my feet a little wet. Left my knee boots at home in a hurry to get on the water. Guess y’all know what happened. Lol. Didn’t cuss or fuss, just grabbed all my stuff before it floated off and straight back to the truck, loaded and came home. With the heater full blast of course.

That seal launch is hard to get right.

Glad to hear you're ok! You own a boat or other floating device, you're going to get we at least once during your affair with that craft. At least you got it over with.

I little easier to pull off in a sit-in-side kayak, but yep everyone that spends time in kayaks has made that mistake at least once!

I have flipped a few times. But this was just pure stupidity. Lol. I could see it happening before it did. But I won’t be trying it again.
