Cotaco is looking realy healthy. They was shocking the creek while i was there and they had some really good reports. I only wanted enough for my cocktail sauce delivery system. LOLName: Screenshot_20231117_193643.jpg

There was a crew from Auburn in a junky boat with a 25 hp motor on elk and anderson creek Thursday. I talked to them and followed for a little while, they had not shocked up any crappie, I wated them on the east bank of elk and no crappie from about five tops laying in the water about 8 to 12 ft of water. They were not state people, one said he was working on his degree nice young men. I didn't stay long and catch no fish. The last few weeks have tough. Its hard to believe that they didn't bring some crappie to the top but that's what they said.

I have followed the state boat with their permission, their boat is a large flat bottom with four booms out the front. State will tell you not to get to close but these guys only had two booms out front i was close but all my electronics were in the boat or turned off. Taking no changes. I have followed the state if they are down there they will come to the top.

It’s always surprising what they find in a lake. I’ve heard talk of seeing state records in some of the lakes. Nice catches you got there
