    Default Condition for fishing

What is your green light conditions to splash the boat and tryem? I have 3 conditions that I go by and 2 of the 3 have to be true before I will go.
    1. Temps above 50 degrees
    2. Wind 10 mph or lower
    3. Mostly Sunny
Main reason am asking my son was out today for a snow day and we sure was bored so I caroused a fellow crappie.commer (Nathan) who will remain nameless unless he confesses to fishing with low rent and using minnows. Were we crazy? We managed 3 really nice crappie in 3 hours that were never measured and were returned back to swim again that by my guess were over 12 inches. I think for the foreseeable future we may just have to learn to fish the current and look for fish in a little different location.

    1. Off work
    2. No lightning
    3. No ice on the ramps

If those 3 line up for me, I’ll go. But, what do I know? I’m still new at this crappie thing.

That ice on the ramps is a no-no for me. Been there once never never again.

    1) If I'm awake
    2) If I have at least 2 hours to fish.
