Default Kayak Trip Report, Barron Fork

I've been busy with work and family issues for a few weeks. I finally found a little time for some fishing therapy today. With the forecast calling for rain I decided to stay close to home and ran over to Barron Fork this morning. I kept half a limit of Crappie and half a limit of gills for Memorial Day Lunch tomorrow, returned many more. The fish were scattered, but I found a consistent bite on submerged stumps in three to four feet. All fish came single pole, casting a 1", 1/32oz slider jig. The water was muddy with visibility of about 6 to 8 inches and 81 degrees.

Nice catch! If you don’t mind share some pictures of your kayak. I bought one last year to fish out of and I’m still trying to get it set up.
