    Guarding house tending dogs and cats. Wife's out a town visiting kids and grandkids, no way I could make it. Hope the wind was better than here in Rockford.fixing to give the pond bass a chance to turn themselves in!! Good luck to all.

    Camp was a great time of meeting up with everyone and sharing stories. The food was awesome as usual, thanks to all that cooked and helped run the camp. Fishing left a little to be desired, but that's just an added bonus to getting to see and meet everyone. Thanks again gang for a great time!!!

    We couldn't give "live from the camp" updates. Apparently there is only one cell phone tower in Cherokee county and somebody unplugged it. LOL

    It was a great time for sure. There were a few snafus but being the caliber of folks we are, we just smiled and enjoyed all there was to enjoy! Coach, BobD, and someone else (forget) were not served their food at our 19 seat supper at the fish house restaurant at Cowan creek. Meanwhile, Skeet55 had oysters rockerfella. Despite putting single digit number of crappie in the live well for each outing, we still had enough to eat on Saturday. Well, BamaS did provide seven quart sized bags of filets too. We gave out some good door prizes too all the crappie.com members but I figured out I missed a member this morning. Will be contacting him to make up for my mistake this week! I gotta tell you, the more I hang out with these folks, the more I grow fond of them. On the drive home this morning, my wife who I was so happy to have come along, commented on how nice you folks were.

    Enjoyed the time with old friends and enjoyed meeting new ones. Thanks everyone for coming. Thanks for all of the help this weekend from many folks and the hospitality from Cowan Creek Resort. Thanks again for everyone’s help, sorry the fishing was the pits, the weather didn’t cooperate with us as is usual for our camp.

    I agree I thought it was great and my mife and son had a great time and thought it was a great group of people we really enjoyed it my son is already asking when the next one is.

    Fishing was not good all week. Weather has been awful. Despite that a good time was had by all I think.
