    Default Tennessee River

When is the best month to start crappie fishing, in the spring, on the Tennessee River, between Ditto Landing and Guntersville Dam?

Year round is great, but peak of the Crappie spawn is normally mid to late March.

You are very welcome. A few people went to some spots I know at Guntersville (bridges) at 11PM Sunday night! and limited out fishing 6ft deep. They said they were catching them so fast that as soon as you lay one pole down another one dropped. Waves were crashing and it was 32 degrees.

Sounds like they were really on them. Maybe soon I can get on some.
