    So thinking of going fishing Friday. Guntersville area. What do you guys think? Too cold or go for it?

    So of my best trips have been when it has been the coldest and there was no other pressure. It all depends if you can find the fish, otherwise that makes for a miserable trip. Be safe out there if you go

    Thanks. I will. The spot is a bridge and Crappie bite good there. I was just looking at this weather. When we caught 15 the high was 45. The high for Friday is showing 33°.

    Its nice being a geezer.....you can fish all the nice days and stay home when its cold or windy.

    Never a bad day fishing in the winter...unless your fingers start falling off! I can handle it if wind doesn't blow and if I can keep my hands somewhat warm!

    Thanks guys. Cold out there right now but the winds are now saying N 4 and the high 21°. Today is a hard freeze warning. Winds right now are high. Next week it is in the 50's!
