I was on the water yesterday. Water temp was 64 -65. That was in the Town Creek/ Belefonte area. Found catfish shallow and bream on the blow down. Marked fish in the channels just before the rain moved in forcing me off the water. They were suspended over structure so I believe they were crappie.

Got a report yesterday that the lower end of the lake dropped 5-6 degrees as a result of rain and cool nights this last weekend.

Water temperature was 62 to 63 ° yesterday right after the rain in the Browns creek area. Friday up near Scottsboro it was 66- 67° the fish seem scattered but very dark and in bedding colors when you caught one. My buddy that fishes blow downs on wheeler caught limits both friday and sat fishing in them, not sure the water temp over there.
