    Default Yellow Creek

Me and the wife fished yellow creek Wednesday morning= put in around 730= water temp was around 66- moved up into the spillway of of the falls- caught about 30 or 40 on minnows and a blue head white tale jig- all of them were 9 inches or so- moved down around the old concrete crossing- caught a ton out of the rocks in 4 foot water- no keepers..... but sure was a lot of fun... shouldnt be long fore the big ones move in..... Headed to Paris Landing this weekend to fish with my brother.....he says the bite is on in Tenn.

Yellow Creek is on fire.....the big females have already made their move....just all haven't laid out yet....on the 9th I limited out with 30 crappie that weighed 45 lb or so....not one of those fish were caught with a minnow although I had the minnows/slip corks out the whole time......I won't buy anymore til I go at night after the spawn is complete......just find a sandy/gravel bank, throw a jig,and have a blast

Is that Yellow Creek on Weiss Lake? Was there last month after 3" of rain and 27 degree nights. Fish were not there.
