    Default Roland Cooper questions


    Hello, wanting to stay at roland cooper state park for a couple of days mid march, how is the crappie fishing in that area, usually fish out of swift creek but wanting to stay a few days in the cabins if the fishing is good, any help would be appreciated

    Yes, you have several creeks and bodies of water that are not far from Roland Cooper. It is near the middle of what most people consider "Millers Ferry". You can run up or down river just a couple miles and get to some very good crappie water.

    Good luck getting one of the cabins. They are booked a year in advance.
