    Default Limestone Creek 12-2-12

On the water around 7 this morning, bite very slow caught a handful of bream and only a four or five crappie on assassins. Kept two, 11" and 12". Fished outside the mouth with minnows and drop sinker caught two big drum on light tackle and stripes at the mouth of creek. Fish were bunched in schools and easy pickings.

well, before my trolling motor quit working I was catching small ones. they were white bass not the bigger hybrids or salties.

also, TVA had dropped the water about a foot over the last week. that didn't help any for sure

LOL - lots of pelicans, almost as many pelicans as geese.

yeah, the pelicans were there, and ungodly amount of snow geese. and birdwatchers, who get in the way when you're trying to launch/load boat. no offense to anyone who's into that, i've just had too many run ins with them especially at Arrowhead

Gotta watch them things, they like to act like bombardiers.

mercboy -Snow goose numbers are way down - you should have seen it 10-15 years ago It would be a constant roar and the whole north end of the bay was covered with geese. Not near as many now. I thought the kayak dude had a pretty cool setup with the camera boat-pod thingy.

Stymie - you could see the trail as they went across the water
