Yesterday, 11:20 PMWell looks like they are down to summer pool level (and holding) and slowed/shut down the spillway. Lake side is still muddy and up river is even worse. Stopped by spillway Thursday afternoon with grandson, the cove was pack with people and parking lot was full. We did not stay. Plan to get the jon boat out next week and try to find some schools...20 replies | 1400 view(s)

Yesterday, 10:36 PMGlad the knee's doing good, and sorry for the back pains. Having injured my L-4 and L-5 I can relate. Ms Joyce's knee bothers her some with the cold spells we are having off and on up here. Looking forward to getting my knee done within the next little bit. Prayers for you all down there.1 replies | 32 view(s)

Yesterday, 09:50 PMI've out of commission lately recovering from broken ribs and arm from a slip/fall on ice in January and made my first cranking trip of 2024 yesterday on Cypress Lake in Benton. Found a few takers and caught 8 crappie pulling bandit 300's . Crappie wanted white color baits and were located between 10 to 14 ft on my graphs and water temps was 72...1 replies | 18 view(s)

Yesterday, 09:42 PMskeetbum replied to a thread Windy but productive multi-species afternoon ... many pics in Panfish, Bream, Brim....Some beautiful colors on those gills, and that fourth pic is extra nice! Even better that we can see the bed you were working on the graph. You had a good time with em. Everyone likes a mixed bag and that one is just super. Bet you didn’t want to go home.7 replies | 52 view(s)

Yesterday, 08:41 PMdannypeoples replied to a thread Fished two newest rods Lunakia and Banshee in All Things UltralightI received mine (511 L) earlier than expected. Fished it today (with Ester) on a quick pre-work trip. It certainly has more power than the Finetail 63 SUL. Feels crisp and it’s a bit stiffer than my other area rods. However, if I recall correctly, Randy once said that Majorcraft rods are typically faster than other brands. It is definitely more...9 replies | 184 view(s)
