Today, 09:41 PMI run 3 Helix 12`s Gen 3`s Mega Live and Mega 360 with a group 31 dual purpose still starts my Optimax, it is hard on it as at times it gets run down pretty low after a long day of fishing. I usually only get 3 years out of one so when this one dies I will be going to 135ah LifePO4 dual purpose. I am guessing your battery is on the way out...5 replies | 162 view(s)

Today, 09:25 PMWill start with had to be the toughest fishing in the three years going to Crappie Camp. It would be interesting to talk to a fish biologist, I have never seen this type of Crappie behavior ( Mega Live ). First they had moved off the banks and were schooled out over 25 foot plus water. The schools were huge 100`s they would intermingle...0 replies | 2 view(s)

Today, 08:45 PM1/32 jig heads or smaller. I like to use 2lb test, going even lighter than most. I use hand ties and plastics, but smaller is better in my book, for what it's worth.4 replies | 226 view(s)

Today, 08:18 PMI have the 7'2" medium light. It is a little bit on the light and whippy side. That is not a bad thing for the way I use it. I think it has plenty of strength, and I like the bend to keep a fish pinned once he is hooked. I would buy it again. Hope that helps you decide. Today, 07:24 PMGreenLine replied to a thread Spawn - Water Rising - Water Muddy - Water Cooling - ????? in Main Crappie Fishing ForumIn my neck of the woods they love rising water clear or muddy doesn’t matter. They can be difficult to find , it’s usually more like hunting than fishing. They won’t be everywhere but once you find them, it’s on ! The bite will vary, most of the time I have to get the jig within a foot of where they are. Sometimes they slam it other times...3 replies | 111 view(s)

Today, 07:23 PMA successful Graft is just the beginning. Years of maintaining the tree's sprouting growth below the graft is needed so as much growth energy as possible can be directed to the new variety without washing the graft out from the inside with sap, without reducing the tree's natural ability to produce growth hormones & energy, also protecting the...6 replies | 60 view(s)

Today, 06:37 PMIt's not a major setback thankfully, I'll have it going again before the weekend. You're correct on the build. The springs are longer & a little beefier than what are currently available so my options were to buy the new smaller version, cut off the slip joint & reweld it on the trailer or pay extra to have new, original specification springs...10 replies | 182 view(s)

Today, 06:31 PMBoat prices have gotten plumb ridiculous. I thought I paid too much for my used 1993 Ranger boat and motor. But at today's prices I KNOW I'll have to keep what I have maintained so it will last me the rest of my fishing years. Some folks make enough to afford one of those $100K rigs and more power to 'em.13 replies | 385 view(s)
