My 6 yr old daughter has been having some issues and last week had a rash all over her body. They gave her antibiotics unsure what was happening and that hasn't helped, possibly even made worse. She went back to the doctor and they took blood and sent samples off. Just received news back and they diagnosed her with Lyme disease. Please pray for my...

Or son is back after a what seemed to me a long overseas enlistment, his first and will be home for about a month before heading to his next duty station in the Northwest for his next enlistment. I haven't physically seen him in almost a year and a half so having him home for an extend time is AWESOME! Picked him up at the airport late...

Hi folks, I'm running a Mercury Pro XS 150hp on my war eagle, just curious what kind of fuel treatment everyone is running? Especially to other Mercury owners, which is the best and why? Thanks in advance! Cheers!

Not looking good. Lake is still 2' over summer pool with spillway discharge increasing each day making down river a mess. Hogsback and up river is a flooded muddy mess. Forecast up to 2" of rain over Wed. Thursday. Not looking good at all boys. Anyone been out or on the water lately ? Carry on.

It's time. Who's planning to watch it? I bought glasses for everyone and plan to watch with my family at my mothers house. Should be a good and fun experience for my daughters. Hopefully the clouds don't block it out. Anyone else have plans to watch?

Sure don't sound right? Anyone else have an older four stroke yami, does it sound like this? You may know that I bought this engine locked up, and I took it apart, put new crankshaft bearing in it and put it together. It had all sorts of problems including carburetor issues. But now I have it running on all four cyls, but sounds "not...

I watched this video, and I cringed about all the foam they seal into the hulls and stringers of boats these days. It's great when new, but if water does get into this foam, it's not going anywhere. My recent project has shown me that. Here's where I break into a sealed compartment in my 1996 Sprint Fiberglass boat and "find a lake". ...

Ketchn started a thread with a picture of a glove floating. Very creepy. I added a post about stepping on what I thought was a drowning victim. Left me shaky. Read it on his thread. But that gave me the idea for this. Post weird or creepy thing you have seen or found while on the water. I'll start with one about a high school friend. My...

I'm looking to upgrade my Humminbird 998. I'm having a hard time deciding if i want to go with the Garmin GT56 transducer with Ultra 102 screen, or stay with Humminbird and go with a Helix 10. I've heard the garmin gt56 is better than Hbird for side imaging and all that jazz.... What do you all say? Any experience or screenshots anyone could...

What colors do you struggle to catch fish with ? For me it is pink . Really crazy since I fish a pink head 80 % of the time . Doubt that I have caught more than 50 in my life on pink, pink/white and electric chicken combined . Most likely water clarity has me using something else when they would work better . thoughts .

I don't have many pics from the good ol days but have a few that I want to share. Dates are shown on bottom. My dad with a slab caught the year after I was born and a couple of me from the 70's. These fish were caught in Minnesota, my first trips out of state. I'd like to see more old pics so if you have some post them up.

I just purchased a high dollar crappie rod. Very high quality. This particular rod is 7'4" Light action. I really like the rod but it comes with Micro Guides. I'm not sure I like the Micro Guides. Anyone have Pros & Cons when it comes to Micro Guides?

Weather not the best with a east wind. Takeum jigs was responsible for a limit of 30 plus a few. Went out at 2 pm, could not stand sitting around the house this afternoon. That Ghost jig just keeps on putting the hurt on them. Boat flipping them with the Huckabee Stryker 11.5' jig pole, don't care for those heavy 13' poles anymore. Getting old and...

They are bringing lake up to summer pool. Surface temp was 61 to 62 degrees. From the folk I conversed with bite was slow and most guys were catching bass. I...

About a week ago I started looking around online at new rods to pair with my new reel, and I had just about decided on ACC Crappie Stix until I did a search on this forum. Now I'm not nearly as convinced that this is the rod for me. I do mostly bank fishing on rivers and occasionally lakes, and while I target crappie, I do wind up getting into...

Took fish to several older folks today. Some that are no longer able to fish. Couple guys that used to be on here at one time. I had 4-gallon bags of fresh Crappie fillets. One older couple camped at the lake had not seen since last year. Did not know he was battling Cancer. In the past, usually gave him whatever was in my livewell. Asked if he...
