Thank you!! Had a great day, wife and I went to lunch at Texas Road House then stopped at Rush's and shared a banana split. We cut the cake the next day with family and friends.

I’ve done it before too. I prefer the super glue gel. Richard Gene the fishing machine does the dental floss trick. You could wrap a base of thread if you want first on the hook shank but usually I push the bait on far enough it glues to the head some too. It’s on really good.

Having a great time with a great group of folks! I'm happy I made the effort to attend this year. For anyone that may be a little nervous but considering attending future crappie camps here in Michigan, I can assure you as someone who's a first timer, you will be welcomed. Everyone is more than generous with their fishing catching knowledge...

Of course! I haven’t dunked it in water yet but so far it’s been great! A LOT of airflow on top and the top part is light and a stiff bill. Hope it heals fast! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fished lake side this evening. On fire. Best bite ive been on in a while. Males right up on the bank. Time to hit your spots. This weekend might be a challenge there is a crappie tourney going on. I may try sunday evening after some of the traffic leaves.

Some guys were bank fishing, filled a basket with Gill and Crackers. I didn't see anything huge, but lots of eaters.

I do. Especially the jigs that have no barb/bait keeper on them. I have a buddy that wraps his with unscented unwaxed dental floss then glues the jigs to that. He is retired and has a triple axle load of free time lol. I use just whatever super glue I have around. Here lately always seem to be some Loc-Tite brand. I glue them up at home. I...

One of a few man made reservoirs in Florida. The place is alive with wildlife. It's a dam the guberment made to create a barge canal across the state which was never finished. It's actually up the lake from me, up the Ocklawaha river which runs through Lake Griffin and flows North. It's kinda a barrier between my waters, and the Atlantic...

Was a little wet this morning but figured John (Buckeye) wouldn't melt... He found the lumber and we had to have a pic.. Honestly we all found the lumber at some point though.. That's where we found a few. Good night at Liars club. Lots of stories told and maybe a few tales. Even Onieda Eagle showed up! Shout out to John for passing out some...

He and I snuck out this afternoon and hit the beds I found yesterday afternoon. There weren't nearly the numbers I expected and that could be from someone maybe picking them off this morning or who knows? Anyway, we pulled up and my son actually spotted this fish through his polarized glasses. It was behind the boat motor! After hooking this...

Thanks for the link on that hat Lund, exactly what I was wanting. It looks like it will be pretty cool (temperature wise that is) and it will be cool not to have a scorched neck.

I thinking of gluing my 1” curly tails onto my tungsten jigheads . They seem to get pulled down the hook more than trout magnets do . Thinking of wrapping the shank with tying thread and adding a drop of super glue before slipping the body on the hook . Anybody do this ? Looking for suggestions for super glue brands to use . Is this...
