Today, 05:14 PMhdhntr replied to a thread Finally Got The Sergeant Out on the Ville for a couple of hours in Missouri Fishingthose were some good males for sure. I have been ketchn in my honeyhole spawning spot for couple weeks and they are in the stuff and right outside of it. IF your having them whack at it and not connect go smaller. I like to use 32nd' and 64ths under a tiny bobber and they hook up with those just fine. Know this has to be huge thrill for you...9 replies | 309 view(s)

Today, 04:15 PMI have that one . It’s a sweet rod. Light , but not whippy , top section with a lower section that bends nicely to the handle with a 6” gill . They usually arrive from Amazon Japan before the later date .10 replies | 212 view(s)

Today, 04:09 PMThe weather we have had hasn't helped the fishing much this year. I've been talking to others in different areas around the state and I believe we are all experiencing the same thing as us here in North AL.3 replies | 196 view(s)

She is moving from spincast tackle to spinning and while she is doing fantastic and her bite to catch ratio shows it. The draw back is she is not acclimating to the sensitivity of my rods as quickly and...10 replies | 212 view(s)

Today, 03:53 PMRojo replied to a thread Sad that they put all this foam (sponge) in boats these days. in Main Crappie Fishing ForumIf it is a recreational vessel with a Horsepower / Capacity rating it has enough foam (in the seats and bow) to float level if swamped. Commercial vessels are not required to do the flotation or be Coast Guard approved but they are not supposed to be sold for recreational use. Slab, the second picture is what I was referring to, more...22 replies | 746 view(s)

Today, 03:42 PMWhen i see fish that deep on sonar. Two 1/32 with sliders get to 10' deep at 40' behind the boat at 0.8mph. thats about as far back as i want to be, so if i need my baits deeper than 10' i go to one 1/16 + one 1/32 or two 1/16 and adjust the backward distance for depth. Or if i have to go faster, i need more weight to get down the same depth...411 replies | 372081 view(s)

Today, 03:31 PMMy guess, but I bet they close to being done by now. I would be rigging just outside of cover in a little deeper water. On a slow fall and gates are closed. I bet some big sally's and smalls are moving out. Wind be a factor this weekend and then rain coming next Monday. If I wasn't working man I would shoot for next Tuesday, if weather holds out....2 replies | 114 view(s)
