Today, 12:43 AMMade a trip to Cypress Lake yesterday pulling my favorite Bandit 300’s . Lake did not disappoint and caught 18 crappie , 2 cats , and 1 green trout . No fish were harmed with my Livescope , just too windy to use . Here are a few pictures . Sent from my iPhone using Crappie.com4 replies | 38 view(s)

Yesterday, 08:52 AMNice work and great story! I've been on a couple fly in Canadian trips so I understand the dilemma with the rocks. The next time I go, you can bet I'll take a few slip floats!5 replies | 56 view(s)

Traditionally we fish for the spring walleye with a small crappie hair jig tipped with a minnow or leach slowly retrieved along the bottom. Well, up in this area of Canada the bottom of the lakes are mainly rock. The walleye tend to cruise the many boulders and rock piles as this...5 replies | 56 view(s)

05-28-2024, 12:17 AMDespite the wind, I headed out with the goal of putting some fish in the cooler for a fish dinner this holiday weekend. I'd hoped 870 would ride along but he has home AC troubles that need solving. I had lines in the water just before 5, with the air temp at 82 and water temps at 74, which is up about 6 degrees from my last trip thanks to the...3 replies | 55 view(s)

05-27-2024, 12:16 AMYou probably have tackle boxes full of deep diving and squarebill crankbaits just for trolling in the summertime. Numerous vibrant, eye-catching patterns to natural shad or sunfish crankbait patterns make selecting the right one to troll challenging on some days; in addition to having to factor in weather, sun light and water clarity. “I...3 replies | 62 view(s)

05-26-2024, 12:14 AMYou ever get so in the moment that you never think to pull out the picture taking device and miss one opportunity after another to get some beautiful fishy pictures… that would be me yesterday! I guess my fishing has been so limited this year that my brain couldn’t handle the multitasking factor, to eager to catch another one lol. Took the son in...5 replies | 67 view(s)
