I had a bad time Friday night and wound up in the ER for five hours. Back home after so it’s not terrible but not great either. Seems that I have a 4mm kidney stone on my left side. They get your attention. They knocked down the pain and knocked me down with some pain meds. It’s small and still up high and needs to drop down before I can pass it....

But instead it was kinda not so good .... not sure why , lots a fresh rain before I got there in the wee am hours water clarity was good , pond was full , bream all over the place but the larger fish were not very interested in playing .... did ketch a bunch ,but they were all smalls .... best part was the surface versions by the dock ......

May was a wonderful month to crappie fish on the big pond (Buggs Island) for big fish. My best month of fishing in May ever. Plenty of fish on brush and docks and still some big'uns in open water.
