Exactly. Darlene likes to fish, but she would NEVER try to back a trailer or drive the boat. She wouldn't even row our little aluminum boat when jug fishing or limbline fishing. She didn't like getting ants and spiders on her when working the limblines in the bushes. She even had a snake drop down on her head in the dark one night at Ft. Cobb. I tried to talk her into rowing, and letting me run the lines, but no go. Same when setting or retrieving the jugs, but she did a great job of getting those big old blues into the boat.

My wife hasn't fished with me in years so trailer skills are inconsequencial.

My pics seem to load just fine. Either it is fixed or it doesn't effect iPhone. Back to the important stuff. I have seen a lot of crappie "experts" over the last few weeks. Most have been more than willing to explain how I too can be an expert 6 weeks every year . Maybe some day I will be an expert too .

I was dumb enough to go out in the storm for a couple of hours this morning. I remembered that it was not raining under water. I only got 21.

It was a good day. I kept 24 fish that were all 13" or better out of a total of 75. I fished from 3' to 31'. I also caught 7 small mouth and 1 large mouth and 3 channel cat all on crappie jigs.

It was crowded. That is a 27 year old Lowe crappie boat that came with a 5 gallon live well. That was the most I have ever been able to keep alive in that live well. I had previously installed a cycle timer on the live well and it was put to the test. That was 20 fish, I had to put the rest in a fish basket. If any of you guys win the lottery and bought me a new and bigger crappie boat with 2 large live wells I promise I would be a better friend than I have been up to now

actually, if I knew how to weld aluminum I would try to build a boat from scratch.
