    Default Siren Wisconsin

Well just found I moved from third on the list up to 1st. Was told this last Saturday the 2nd, I'm going to Siren Wisconsin on Monday the 4th for a week of fishing. So been packing today and trying to do research on the lakes around Siren. Not sure what I am getting into. So a bit late to ask for advice.

Well here is the first update so far... We started or first day out on Devil's Lake, counter was at 101 but we only kept 38. 30 gills and 8 crappie. Gills were bigger than our hands and crappie we ran a self 10 to 15 size limit. Some fish had spawned while others had not, so we threw back also all females with egg bellies. I caught all mine on a Browns Town jig with bee moth and bobber one set up. The other pole cranking with a regular jig with Bass assassin. Day 2 The wind was blowing pretty good so we went to try Claim Lake. The condition where not that much better, the bite was off, only came out with 9 gills. I did hook into 3 perch for the first time ever seeing them besides on the plate ready to eat. 3 to 4 inch long. Not sure where we are going yet today, no one has said for this merry group of 8 that I am involved with, so will report later.

WTG, Bluetick. Hope the weather improves and the bite is on no matter which you're on.
