    I see that now! I thought it was a white crappie and that we were looking at a 4 lb BC.

    I actually never weigh my fish.. Just put the tape on them but if I could give a good guess when I get over the 15" mark they push 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 pounds..

    You should try it sometime- maybe you would like it! I don't think it hurts the fish much but I guess it does limit the yarns you can spin afterward. Love those big platter BC. Thanks for sharing.
