Default Time for the good ones on Lake Russell

Now's the time to catch some good quality fish on Lake Russell. The stripers are in the creeks, just look for the birds and pull live herring through the area. It appears my buddy BJ has it figured out.

Here we throw bucktail jigs or an a rig & usually catch them pretty good in winter in the creeks especially on windblown clay banks. I fish for them at night in spring & catch a lot of good ones & have a blast when they're on a good topwater bite.
