I'll add to the pics,heres a hybrid and a striper caught in the roanoke river,Those are "wild",non hatchery stripers from the salt.Boy was I suprised to see a hybrid from there.I spoke with a guide who had caught one the same week..Dont know if it was a stocked fish that washed over a dam upstream or was a natural in the wild hybrid by accident.It was the only fish to slip the drag that day

Brimfisher,how long did it take you to get him to the boat and how many line did he tangle?? That's a nice one for sure. I like eating them also,.I get all the red out. Thanks for sharing the pic.As the weather cools a hint I hope to be out trying some stripers in a few weeks.
Took me a good while to land it, and I had to bring five other lines in with her. Sure made a mess. I had double jigs rigged on each line. It was fun!
I love them on the grill or in the smoker.
I've got to get on these Oklahoma hybrids. They're lookin' good.
