Default Headed to Stonewall Wednesday Sep. 30th !

Leaving north Ga. And going home (WV) to fish stonewall with my brother inlaw. Going from Chickamauga lake, 36000 acre fishery, to stonewall 2600 acre fishery. Sounds like it should be easier to fish. But not so... I have yet to boat crappie larger then 10" at stonewall. I know they are there, my brother inlaw has caght 1 that was 15" approximately 1.5lb.
I put livescope on the boat since the last time fishing stonewall, so I am very excited to see where the slabs are!
Has anyone been fishing stonewall recently?
    Any advice?

Just got back last week bite was just getting started , Water temp was starting to cool down. Caught a few nothing big . BUT had a big muskie sound 3 ft in back of the boat , had just released a bluegill 4ft of water. Every bit of 40 + inches, bout gave my wife a heart attack . P.S was in the timber in the right of bridge. They have minnows at broken wheel campground none at marina.

Had a great time at stonewall!
Caught hundreds of crappie over 4 days, but 9" was the largest!.
With no size limit and no creel limit, the larger fish maybe few. Petitioning the Department of National Resources to set some limits would greatly help the quality of crappie.
