Default Do you know where to get minnows?

I can only think of two places that sell minnows in the Charleston area anymore but sometimes they are just the opposite way I am going, or not open yet or whatever. More options would be nice, especially if they are near to where I am going particularly anything near Kenna, Ripley, Sutton, Weston, Ansted, Hamlin, Beckly, Lewisburg....

The two I know of are: Spring Hill Rod and Gun in South Charleston -or- some little tackle shop on Rt. 114 just south of Elkview (just north of Capitol High)

    So, Anyone?

try the amish shop in marmet. Its right across the street from the marmet locks. In sutton try the marina at burnsville lake or sutton lake. Lewisburg caters to plastic fisherman for summersville lake. Also try baitnet.com It may have some on there... GOOD LUCK!!!!!

DUDE!! Is this the Amish shop that used to be a couple miles up the road by the interstate (end of Kanawha city)? I was so angry when that place closed! Smoked Horseradish Cheddar, on the cheap here I come!....they sell minnows??

I'm confused about the Lewisburg part, Why would Lewisburg cater to fisherman going to a lake over an hour away when the G'brier is right there and even Bluestone or the New is closer than S'ville....or is "Lewisburg" a name of a store in Summersville??

Speaking of Lewisburg, ever make it to Lake Sherwood? I've heard its really nice for Crappie/Gills.

It seems like it used to be so much easier to find live bait......Thanks!!
