Thread: Crappie Tournament at Pin Oak Lake - 10/25/2014

The West TN Crappie Club will be hosting a tournament on Pin Oak Lake (near Lexington, TN) on 10/25/2014.

Registration- 615am - 630am at the overflow parking lot across from the lodge
Start - 7am
Stop time - 2pm
Weigh in - 230pm - at the overflow parking lot across from the lodge

Weigh in 7 live crappie and will payout 1 in 3 boats plus pays 1st and 2nd Big Fish.
The tournament is open to everyone (members and non-members)
Entry fee is $60/team (non-member) and $50/team (member).

If you plan to fish, call Jamie Moore (731-414-5687) by 7pm on Thursday (10/23) so that we know who all plans to fish.
You will need to purchase a $2.00 permit at the lodge to fish at Pin Oak.

We had beautiful weather on a beautiful lake. All teams caught fish. Some teams single poled, some pulled crank baits, and some spider rigged.
Several teams reported catching 30 or more fish, but just couldn't find any big ones. We had pre-fished the previous weekend and found decent size fish and pretty good numbers, but tourney day was a different story as no one could find 7 good size fish.
This was our club's first tournament at Pin Oak & no one knew much about it so it was a bit of a wild card for all of us.

1st Place - John Keller & Nate Watkins - 3.94 lbs
2nd Place - Tim Keller & Jeff Lence - 3.83 lbs
