I've been spending the mornings on catfish lately but crappie are slow, scattered and inconsistent from what I've seen. Wednesday we came in with 22 after catfishing and yesterday only 10. Looking forward to the Fall.

Hot here also and the reservoir is dropping daily. I hope to spend a couple mornings on crappie this week, we'll see how that goes.

I got into some yesterday. They're nice fish when you can find them. Checked 9 good rock structures that have always been good summer producers and only found fish on 2 of them. Real windy until around 10:00 made it tough to anchor on them. Small baits fished vertical and watch for the slightest tick of a bite.
