Hello everyone in Oregon and Washington I miss the Snake river too hot to fish in Texas I haven’t fished in over a month we’re waiting for a cooler weather it might be Christmas before I start fishing again.

You can't wait for cooler weather, you just bite the bullet and fish in the hot weather. I fished this past Thursday and Saturday in Lake Worth from 11:00 AM till 6 PM. I drank 8 bottles of water and still lost 3 pounds Saturday. Which proves I am a dedicated crappie fisherman or a stupid fisherman. I'm not sure which it is myself.

I had a good day Thursday, caught 9 that was between 11"-12". But my fishing buddy only caught 1 8" crappie and around a dozen white bass. Went out the same times on Saturday and the roles were reversed. I only caught 3 small crappie, he caught over a dozen, 9 of which were over 12 ". We returned them all to the water so we hope we can catch them again this week.

So just bite the bullet and get on them. You will not catch as many but you can catch some nice sized ones if you just keep your lures in the water.
