Thread: How’s the fishing in Brownlee

I fished last Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday we had 28 crappie, 6 bluegill, 3 perch and 5 bass. The 28 crappie filleted plumb stuffed a 1 gallon ziplock.Really thick across the back. Thursday we had 21 bluegill, 12 crappie, 3 bass and 3 perch. 5 of the bluegill were better than average and 2 were exceptional. Enough so that I wish I would have taken pictures. Launching is getting sketchy. I'd like to go a few more times before the water is below the ramp but I'm also trying to put an elk in the freezer.

You are doing a lot better than what I’m doing here I do miss fishing in snake River hopefully will be back there soon efficient here right now it really slow we went last night and caught a one bluegill one catfish one Crappie and that was it for the evening I hope you get back out on the water before the water down too far.

If I ever do get back that way I always wanted to go out with you never quite got the chance to get a guided trip but will look you up if we get back Fishing here stinks.

I retired from guiding but still take friends and family when I can. I bet you figure out the Texas fishing before long.
